Monash Children's Simulation delivers quality simulation-based education to paediatric healthcare professionals and Monash University undergraduate students. It also has a significant role in Global Health with virtual innovative surgical projects such as the Pacific Island Virtual Online Training in Surgery (PIVOTS).
The surgical simulation centre includes a fully functional operating theatre and a simulated paediatric clinical area for immersive simulation. Since opening in May 2017, more than 600 courses have been delivered to 6000 participants.
MCS operates in the Monash Children's Hospital simulation education precinct, established with the support of Monash University, with strong links to the highly regarded centre of Monash Simulation.
